Recognised in her own playing for her passionate interpretations and expressive (and sometimes edgy!) use of tonal colours; many of Margot’s students have won competitions, exam awards, and have gone on to musical careers in performing and teaching. Others continue to enjoy a lifetime of informal music-making.

“I don’t play the flute, I sing through my flute!”
